Have you wondered about who participates in research studies about diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity or other diseases? Do you want to contribute to advancing treatments and cures? ResearchMatch is a national volunteer research registry that brings together researchers and willing volunteers who wish to get involved in research studies. The Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) is part of the national campaign to build awareness and encourage individuals to join this volunteer registry. NetWellness provides the highest quality health information and education services created and evaluated by faculty of CTSC partner universities.
Local ResearchMatch and NetWellness volunteers will be in the BioMedTech gallery to answer your general questions about research studies and possible opportunities for participation. The November 5 program is presented in recognition of Clinical Research Day. The November 12 program is presented in recognition of Diabetes Awareness Day.
